Rosie Jones, Emma Glover & India Reynolds, together wearing cheerleader outfits… Yup, I approve of this message.
Sunny Leone, I am fairly certain we all know who she is, so I won’t bore you with that, but she is looking pretty good here for FHM.
UK songstress and songwriter Jessie J is featured in the May 2012 issue of ELLE Magazine.
Inside her feature, she speaks about writing her own songs, why she didn’t record 2009′s “Party in the U.S.A.,” a major hit for singer Miley Cyrus, and more. Take a look at her exact words below, as well as pictures from her spread shot by photographer and director KT Auleta.
On her debut studio album Who You Are:
“It was a massive moment for me to say that I cowrote my whole album, and even wrote some of the songs on my own in my bedroom when I was 17.”
On writing her own songs:
“I wondered if the song [Do It Like a Dude] was too personal to put on my album. Then I thought, No, if I was 13 or even 35 and I looked up to an artist and they sang about something I was going through, it would help me deal with it.”
On not recording “Party in the U.S.A.”:
“The song’s lyrics basically tell the story of my arrival to America, apart from the line about being from Nashville, it originally said ‘Essex.’ I wondered, Is it cool enough? It made me want that feeling, to see my name at the top of the charts.”
On her new gig as judge on The Voice UK:
“The show is all about the voice, not about the image, what you look like, or what your story is… I’m excited about teaching people what I’ve learned and also learning from them… I’m honored that people think I’m ready… but I’ll be sitting there next to Tom Jones, who’s also on the show, thinking, Have I done enough to be here?”
